John T. Wilson was born circa 1862 in Kentucky.1 He was the son of John B. C. Wilson and Amanda Melvina Sims.1      John T. Wilson appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of John B. C. Wilson and Amanda Melvina Sims in Underwood Post Office, Precinct No. 1, Hopkins, Kentucky, .1 I read a photocopy of an article out of a newspaper date Sept 10th with no year given. The article was loaned to me by Maurice Wilson Rea. It reads: I desire to express my sincere thanks to all my kind friends for the friendship and sympathy extended to me during the late illness and death of my beloved wife. May our blessed Lord reward them on-hundred-fold in this world and comfort them in the hour of sorrow and affliction. John T.
