My father was a poor man and had a large family.....I have seen my father heat his plow with bark coals, lay it on a smooth limestone rock and take his shoe hammer and sharpen it.
We often had to boil the brine where we had salted our meat to grain it again to salt our victuals. At my first recollection, we did not have teacups and saucers. My father and mother only had coffee on Sunday morning and they drank it out of a pint tin cup sweetened with maple sugar".

I have include documentation, photos, etc. on many of the people. A picture is worth circa 1000 words.

I am in need of any photographs, documents, etc. that you may have pertaining to our family.
Please email me what you have or contact me by phone.
I will scan your documents for you and return them to you unharmed!
For your trouble I will put the photos on a CD along with any of the other
photo's or documents you see on this website. I can work magic on your old photo's!!

Forgive me for the lousy grammar and sentence structure used in the documents.
I am spending all of my time gathering facts! Give me a few months and I will make the site read better!!

These narrative reports of our ancestors were created with The Master Genealogist V5.15TM and with a great companion program called Second Site v1.7.2 written by John Cardinal.

If you are unaware of the benefits of DNA testing for genealogical research, you can visit
